Analyze and explain the characteristic behaviors of either Imam
Hussain(as), Imam Sajjad(as), or Hazrat
Abbas(as) and how we can implement their model in the resolution of
today's major issues.
In writing your essay, use the following as your guideline: •
Select specific issues that are of
importance to you and explain why you have chosen them. •
Describe and analyze the role of
the member of the Ahlul Bayt that you have chosen in application to resolving these particular issues &
discuss the immediate consequences. •
Keep in mind that some of the
current interests include: human rights, freedom, security, love for one
another, democracy, countering terrorism.
The

that they have not been previously published The deadline for the Ahlul Bayt Essay Contest is September 15, 2007. A panel of judges will evaluate the essays during the month of Ramadhan and the winners will be announced on the day of Eid Al-Fitr. The decision of the judges is final.
